DESCRIPTION OF THE ROUTE

The trip "Around Šostýn I" (see below) can be extended by visiting the look-out at Raška's Stone - from the Lachian nature trail "Crossroads of witches" board (C) go further along the route of the nature trail (also following the yellow tourist signs) to (D) Raška's Stone (Raškův kámen) – the distance is ca. 500 meters. Continue to the tourist crossroads at (E) Janík's saddle (Janíkovo sedlo) – about 350 meters from Raška's Stone. Turn right here (looking at the tourist guidepost to the left) and you'll descend along the asphalt road back to the trailhead (the distance from the saddle to the car park is about 1.3 km, the length of the entire route is about 4.6 km).

Circle trip "Around Šostýn I" – from the trailhead (A), take the Lachian nature trail route to the Bezruč’s Lookout, then go along the ridge of Brdy to the crossroads "Pod Pískovnou". From there, turn right and go along the pond below Šostýn to the ruins of the castle (B) – distance: about 2.5 km).
